It was founded in 2000 by Örjan Andersson and Adam Friberg.
The brand is known for their idiosyncratic designs, and has expanded from their original focus on jeans to include sneakers, flannel, and shirts.Cheap Monday began originally with jeans but has since branched out into full collections. In addition to its logo, it is also noted for its price which is distincitvely lower than most other quality denim brands.
